Take a sightseeing tour around our local Mussel farms, or enjoy the tranquility of private beaches and tucked
away coves. Relaxing, swimming or sunbathing with family or friends, you can bring your lunch or make use
of our onboard BBQ. ( BYO alcohol )
Our fishing trips cater for both the novice and the experienced fishermen. Most of the year, except for the
colder months of July through September, the Snapper fishing in and around the Mussel Farms, both in
the Coromandel Harbours, and around Wilsons Bay in the Firth of Thames, is the best you will see anywhere
in the world. (it is not uncommon for fishing trips to return early with bag limits) Trevally, John Dory, Gurnard, Kahwai, and
Kingfish can also be caught at varying times. Make sure you bring your camera, you never know when Dolphins,
Orca, and whales may pop up on their way past.
Our boat ''Oban Cowboy'' is a 11m 420hp fully surveyed / MSA compliant vessel, meeting all New Zealand legal
Safety requirements. She carries up to 10 passengers plus 2 crew and is capable of over 21kts.
For your comfort there is seating, a covered top for shelter / shade and also complimentary tea and coffee.
Other amenities include hand basin and toilet.
